Science and Religion Evening

A SCIENCE AND RELIGION EVENING
in the Community Hall of
St Chad's Church, Ladybarn,
at 8 pm on Tuesday 29th November 2016
The Subject: ROBOTS AND HUMANS.
The evening will be led by Dr David Rydeheard Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Manchester University who will bring with him a group of his students and their robots to lead us in exploring and discussing artificial intelligence and the growing place of robots in our lives.
Robots are in factories building our cars and on our streets driving them. They are fighting ISIS in Syria and beating chess champions at chess.
If humans are made in God's image, robots are made in ours. They already assist with operations and help care for us in old age.
They are our present and our future giving us a lot to discuss. Do come along to what promises to be a most interesting evening.
Admission £2. Coffee included. Everyone welcome.
