St Chad's Ladybarn is member of Inclusive Church and offers worship, prayer and mutual spiritual support in the Liberal Catholic Tradition. Our Sunday congregations are diverse in age, nationality, and ethnicity.
Our main Sunday service is the Parish Eucharist at 10.00am, using the contemporary language liturgy from Common Worship.
We offer regular groups for bible study, discipleship, wide-ranging discussion.
Our children's corner provides space and craft activities within the main body of the church allowing parents and carers to still participate in the service.
There is Fair Trade tea, coffee and biscuits in the Community Hall after the Sunday Eucharist.
You can download our welcome leaflet here.
Mark Hewerdine is our Rector, presides at most of our services and leads (with our PCC) the mission and ministry in the parish.
Dr Helen Reid, our Reader, assists with leading services, preaching, and pastoral care. Helen is also vice-chair of our PCC.
Opal Walsh, Authorised Lay Minister, also assists with aspects of worship and prayer in the parish.
Steven Waling, Authorised Lay Minister, helps to lead our Christian Meditation group and is developing our use of creative arts
